Asian Heritage Foundation (AHF) Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmental social development organization founded in 2008 by the owner of Asian Heritage Group, Nilhari Bastola (Nilam), to raise the living conditions of people disadvantaged communities of Nepal who are left behind by sharing benefits of economic developmet. Asian Heritage Foundation Nepal was registered with the District Administration Office, and Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu.
AHFN, believes that Nepal cannot rise to its true potential without a fundamental transformation in the lives of disadvantaged people in Rural Nepal. We believe in a holistic and integrated development with a focus on five fundamental issues Community Mobilization, Health & Nutrition, Tourism &livelihood, Agriculture& Environment Protection and Education. This model empowers our communities with the capability of creating choices for themselves and their families, allowing them to transform their own lives and ensuring a sustainable changes in thier social , economical and cultural aspects.
AHF Nepal has establised community hospital in ( Necha Community Hospital) Necha village, South Solukhumbu district. The aims of the hospital are to improve the health status of families through providing access to basic health services and raising awareness about importance of good healt. Since AHFN has been supporting the Necha Community Hospital for seven years by providing infrastructure, qualified doctors, training & education, awareness programmes and management advice. Till date more than 80,000 rural individual people are benefitted from various projects ( water, edcation and livelihood promotion) implemented by the foundation to improve the living conditons of rural people

FOUNDER'S STATEMENT
Health and education are fundamental rights that all citizens should enjoy, but in Nepal, many marginalized groups—such as the disabled, elderly, women, children, and the economically poor—lack equal access. Rural populations often remain unaware of their rights and responsibilities, limiting their ability to claim basic services. They also face challenges like poor health awareness, environmental degradation due to overpopulation and resource misuse, and a lack of employable skills. These issues deepen poverty and inequality, making it hard for rural people to live quality lives. Additionally, while Nepal has significant tourism potential, its benefits mostly reach wealthy investors, bypassing the local poor.
To address these issues, Asian Heritage Foundation Nepal was established in 2008 as a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-aligned organization. Originally founded as a social initiative of Asian Heritage Trek and Expedition, it later became an independent body with both local and international partners. The foundation focuses on empowering marginalized communities through health, education, skill development, and sustainable tourism. Its flagship initiative, the Necha Community Hospital in Solukhumbu, reflects its commitment to improving the lives of underserved people across Nepal.
